Close to 25,000 Lost Power in South-East Queensland and Victorian Regions Following Intense Storms
Approximately twenty-five thousand households in southeastern Queensland were left without power on Monday morning after intense storm systems swept through the area, bringing powerful gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Hailstones and Broad Destruction
Locals witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7 centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Weather Forecast
Moist weather were expected to linger along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.
The following day was expected to become the wettest day, with persistent thunderstorm potential expected across various areas of both areas.
Health Warning
Public health experts warned that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
This warning comes after past events where comparable situations led to substantial respiratory problems in the state.
